At the cornice of the farmhouse where the Il Colombaio hotel was built, there is a well-groomed garden that reflects the typical flora of this wonderful region.
Here you can admire not only the wonders of nature with the secular oaks, but also an enchanting panorama of the Chianti Valley on one side and the historic center of Castellina in Chianti on the other. In the park there is also a swimming pool, open from mid-April to mid-October, available to guests of the hotel. By the pool, the solarium has sun loungers and umbrellas to give you a relaxing break between hiking and the other.

At Colombaio's hotel, food is very important since the morning, which is why we offer our guests not only everything you would expect from a classic breakfast, but also a selection of typical cakes and pies prepared according to the traditional recipes of the place .
For lunch and dinner, we have selected some of the restaurants in the area, where you can enjoy traditional dishes in their typical setting and closely linked to their origins.

The Il Colombaio hotel was built by an old transhumance house, decorated in the typical Chiantigiano style. The ambiance is familiar and features the typical hospitality of Tuscan hospitality.
As you enter, you can taste the true essence of the place in an environment that perfectly reflects its origins thanks to the use of local materials such as floor tiles, walnut or walnut wood and wrought iron beds. Everything is taken care of in the smallest details to allow everyone to enjoy all the comforts and find their own spaces.
